  • What is included with the rental of a chalet?

    Sheets, comforters, towels and hand towels are provided. Each chalet also has a fully equipped kitchen, which also includes salt, pepper, and sugar. We also provide hand soap, dish soap, dishwashing pods, toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags to cover your entire stay.

    All of our chalets have an indoor fireplace and the wood is provided.

    There is a free shuttle to Mont-Sainte-Anne (for skiing) for all chalets in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges. View the shuttle’s schedule and route.

    Access to an indoor pool with spa and an exercise room is located 3km from the chalets. Learn more about access to the pool and spa. A pass to access the pool will be sent by email 72h before your check in.

  • Is there a reception desk?

    At your arrival, head to your chalet and we will happily greet you personally. Please follow the steps that we will have sent via email 72h prior to your arrival.

  • How much is your nightly rate?

    Prices are available on each of the chalets’ web pages. Prices are adjusted according to the season. The base price is $29 per person/night.

  • Do you accept pets?

    Certain chalets accept pets. Look for the icon X or use the filters provided to choose the option “Pets allowed with conditions.”

    Conditions: We ask that you limit the animal’s access to areas that are not carpeted. You must pick up after your pet. Please refer to the additional charges and fees table if a special cleaning is required.

  • Can a chalet be rented for one (1) night only?

    All chalets have a minimum 2 night stay. During the Christmas party period, however, between November and early December, one night stays are permitted. For a specific request, please complete the information form.

  • Are chalets non-smoking?

    All of our indoor spaces are non-smoking. It is strictly forbidden to smoke or vape inside the chalets. A part of the security deposit may be used for cleaning, if required. Please refer to the additional charges and fees table.

  • We are a large group, can we stay at one of your chalets?

    Yes, it will be our pleasure to welcome your group! Our chalets can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 80 people.

    Groups must respect local municipal rules and authorities for noise, security and respect of others.

  • What is the occupancy policy?

    You must leave the chalet in the same state as when you arrived.

    You must put all garbage, recycling and cans in the appropriate bins, clean the dishes, empty the refrigerator/freezer and pantry, put all the furniture back in place, and close all windows and lights.

    Additional fees for cleaning may be incurred if the rules for cleanliness and occupancy have not been respected.

    The signatory on the rental contract must be at least 25 years old.

    If there is major damage in a chalet, the renter must advise the owner by emailing info@chalets-village.com. The security deposit will be retained. Please refer to the additional charges and fees table to learn about the cost of specific items.

  • Why have we not received an email reply about our reservation request?

    All communications are by email. Though we do our best, sometimes our replies may end up in your spam folder for unknown reasons. If this is the case, please let us know here.

  • How does payment work?

    Deposit at the time the reservation is made:

    A 25% deposit is required to secure the dates of your stay.

    Balance owing:

    An email will be sent and the balance will be due within 30 days prior to your arrival.

  • What methods of payment are accepted by Chalets-Village?

    Interac are preferred, however Visa and Mastercard are also accepted. Checks are no longer accepted.

  • How does the security deposit work?

    The security deposit is an authorised amount frozen on your credit card and not debited. A few days prior to your arrival or at your arrival at the chalet, the following amounts will be held:

    • $500 for chalets of 19 people or less (1813, 1817, 1827, 1835, 1847, 1853)
    • $1000 for chalets accommodating 20 to 41 people (1805, 1806, 1807, 1820, 1825, 1830)
    • $1500 for chalets of 42 people or more (1815, 1927)

    The security deposit is refundable within a few days of your departure once our cleaning team has inspected the chalet.

    If any damage has been incurred and/or the occupancy policy has not been respected, the security deposit will be used according to the additional charges and fees table. A detailed email with photos will be sent along with the invoice.

  • When will I receive information regarding my arrival at the chalet?

    Once your reservation is confirmed, an email will be sent containing information pertaining to your arrival. Information including the access code to the front door, passes to the pool, and WIFI passwords will all be sent 72h before your arrival. You can share this information with your group.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    In case of cancellation, the committed amounts are non-refundable.

    However if this cancellation is due to a major event (death, accident or something similar) within 30 days prior to arrival, the amount will not be refunded but will be credited for use at another time within 2 years following the cancellation request.

     

    Reservations made after March 14, 2020

    For stays booked after March 14, 2020, the usual cancellation conditions apply and the reservation is not covered by the Force Majeure Policy. Circumstances related to COVID-19 that are not covered include: transportation interruptions and cancellations; travel warnings and restrictions; health advisories and quarantines; changes to applicable law; and other government mandates, such as evacuation orders, border closures, short-term rental bans, and lockdown directives.

    The Force Majeure Policy is intended to protect travelers against unforeseen circumstances that arise after a reservation has been made. Since COVID-19 is considered a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, the force majeure policy no longer applies as the consequences of COVID-19 are no longer unforeseen or unexpected .

  • Do all chalets have spas?

    Chalets 1817, 1827, 1835, 1806,1847, 1805, 1830, 1820, 1825 and 1927 have a permanent spa in all seasons.

  • Do your chalets have outdoor fireplaces?

    Depending on the season and the associated risks with an outdoor fire, outdoor fireplaces are another option that can be made at the time of your reservation. You can also add it to your reservation by contacting us with a few days notice.

  • Are BBQs available at your chalets?

    All chalets have a BBQ except condos 409 and 411 which have access to a community BBQ.
